Why just film Wales?
Listen too!

Got the location? Check! Got the Actors? Check! Got the music...?

Wales is home to outstanding natural beauty and is used by numerous productions for filming but have you thought about using Welsh music in your production? Wales has a thriving TV and film industry and growing stature in new media, video games and other media that require professionally produced music.

Funded by the Welsh Government, Welsh Music Foundation can provide you with a One Stop Shop for all things music related in Wales. We can find any music or musical service you require, Wales is also blessed with the musical talent to fulfil those needs.

We have a wealth of experience in the music industry and a thorough understanding of the requirements needed to source music for productions, enabling us to provide a service at the very highest level. By tailoring to your needs and giving you time to focus on other aspects of your production, we endeavour to take the stress out of music sourcing.

This service is FREE and Welsh Music Foundation can act as brokers between you and our database of over 3,000 music businesses in Wales, including composers, studios, choirs, indie bands and much more!

If you want a sample of Welsh sourced music or a bespoke composition, Welsh Music Foundation is the only option to be heard.

We are also able to list currently active Welsh composers who specialise in music for synchronization. We can provide brief profiles, samples and contact information. There is also information on publishers who have catalogue material for licensing.

Welsh Music Businesses have worked on many notable productions including films such as Abraham’s Point, Hedd Wyn, Five Fingers and One of the Hollywodd Ten; television productions such as Young Dracula Series II, Sgorio, Y Sioe Gelf, Children of the Valley, True Horror with Anthony Head and on Advertising Campaigns for Mitsubishi, Yamaha, Mercedes and worked with internationally renowned artists such as John Cale, Bryn Terfel and Charlotte Church.
